To start it off this week was pretty easy just like it has been for the past how ever many weeks we have been in school. I got all of my bib cards onto a works cited page and that didnt take very long. along with the title page that didnt take long either. im not the best at english and making outlines is normally pretty hard for me, but this time i felt like it was the easiest. the only problem i had was the thesis statement. i always struggle with those and the conclusion. when i had to start the outline i was not quite sure on how to start it off, but then i just started organizing my notecards which takes forever if you dont put a heading and of course i forget to put some headings on some of the cards. so i had to read through those cards to figure out where i wasnted to put them. then after i got all of that figured out i started typing up some facts. after that i found out that some of he cards didnt belong in a certain group because it could go in with either the trial or that group so i had to make my decision on which one it had more information about so that took some time. finally i had a six page out line and i said wahoo this paper is going to be four pages with a 6 page outline. the only thing with the outline is that a speech outline is different than a research outline which stinks because you have to shift gears and go back to the english version. the next step after the outline was starting the rough draft. the hardest part about the rough draft for me is the how do i start and what thesis am i going to use or i dont know how to make a thesis. the other hard part is how do you end a research project in your conclusion? i worked really hard in class to get my research project rough draft done because i didnt want to do any of it at home. plus i haad other tests to study for, so i try to use any class time i get to an advantage of not having hw but also getting things done that i needed to get done. I am finally done with my rough draft and i have to fix like two more problems on it and then i have my final draft and just have to staple all the parts together. overall this research project we did on trials was one of the easiest ones that i have ever done because i had the check list in front of me so i got to work ahead if i needed to. well that was my journal for this week. movies tonight and the soccer game and dad's work cook out tomoro :) exciting weekend!!
